Scope of Operation

Empowering Lives Globally with the Reach and Impact of Our Operations

Health

Health is wealth. Most women and girls don't have access to healthcare mainly because of financial constraints. We have series of health activities to help with access to health information and health care.
Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.
The new goal for worldwide Good Health promotes healthy lifestyles, preventive measures and modern, efficient healthcare for everyone.
We call on all stakeholders to help achieve Sdg 3, "Good health and wellbeing".

Adolescent Reproductive Health and Rights: Progress towards universal health coverage requires keeping adolescents healthy, as adolescence represents a significant opportunity for successful prevention and health promotion with life course implications. Sexual and reproductive health education service is well described as the combination of techniques, procedures and service that prevent and respond to sexual health snags by ensuring sexual health and wellbeing. While most adolescent's health problems are avertible or fixable, adolescents face many hurdles in accessing healthcare and information. We provide and make SRH services easily accessible and bring it to the doorsteps of adolescents with communities and schools. This reduces the burden of illness and disability in adolescents especially within rural deprived communities where this service is not available.we go to schools to provide adolescent sexual and reproductive health education.

Menstrual Hygiene Education and Pad Distribution: The deprivations associated with period poverty connect strongly to the SDGs, including SDG 1 (no poverty), SDG 3 (good health and well-being), SDG 4 (quality education), SDG 5 (gender equality), and SDG 6 (clean water and sanitation). Lack of access to period products can occur due to financial and physical barriers. one of our biggest ongoing projects. To decrease period poverty, menstrual products need to be made more affordable and accessible. Menstrual hygiene and education also need to be taken more seriously by governments, decision makers, and educators. Global sanitization and menstrual awareness need to improve overall.
We are deeply committed to the global plan of ending period poverty by 2030. We appeal to government to remove tax of period products and provide free sanitary pads to all girls of menstruating age.
